- CHECK BATTERY
This function checks
the
voltage
of the
battery which backs
up the
internal VOICE
MEMORY and PERFORMANCE MEMORY,

"XX" is the battery voltage.
Any
voltage higher than
2.2
volts
is
"normal".

An exceptionally long-life oattery
nas
been used, however,
if
the
battery
voltage does drop below
2.2 volts the
"***CAUTI0N*** change battery!"
message will
be
displayeo.
In
this
case the battery needs to be replaced.
However,
a
special type
of
battery
is
used and replacement MUST BE DONE AT A
YAHAiiA DEALER,
Contact your nearest
Yamaha dealer when battery replacement
becomes necessary*

Battery voltage
is
greater than
3.0
volts when initially shipped.
