SavE mode
The machine is equipped with a battery saving function
(SavE). In most cases SavE mode is the most optimum
when using the hedge trimmer and gives longest runtime.
• Activate the function by pressing the SavE button (1).
A green LED (2) will light to indicate that the function
is on.
• Deactivate the saving function by pressing the SaveE
button (1). When the green LED (2) goes out, the
SavE function is deactivated.
The SavE function is automatically disengaged if the
ground conditions demand a higher output.
The SavE function is automatically reactivated as soon as
the ground conditions permits.
Work mode
The machine can be operated in 3 different modes to
enable best working conditions.
1 Standard mode
2 SavE mode - Active choice of the SavE function
3 High load mode - The motor automatically increases
rpm and output under high load, e.g. when cutting
high or damp grass. The motor will return to standard
mode when the load is reduced.
Stopping
1 Stop the engine by releasing the engine brake handle.

2 Hold down the on/off button (1) on the panel until the
green LED (2) goes out.

3 Open the protective cover on the machine and turn
the safety key to position "0".
4 The battery should be recharged if weak. For more
information, see 'Battery handling'.
5 Remove the battery from the machine by pressing the
two release buttons and pulling out the battery.
The machine will be turned off automatically after it has
been inactive for 10 minutes.
IMPORTANT! Prevent unintentional start by turning the
safety key to '0', removing the battery and waiting at
least 5 seconds.
