Printing from AirPrint Compliant Device This document explains how to use AirPrint to print wirelessly from your iPad, iPhone and iPod touch to a Canon printer. AirPrint enables you to print photos, email, Web pages and documents from your Apple device directly to your printer without installing a driver.

Entering Numbers, Letters, and Symbols The machine allows you to enter characters using the Numeric buttons when entering information, such as unit name, a recipient's name for coded speed dial, etc. Switching the Input Mode The machine has three input modes: lowercase mode, uppercase mode, and numeric mode. You can use the Numeric buttons to enter characters in each input mode.

Media Types You Can Use Note When printing, select the correct page size and media type. If you select the wrong page size or media type, the machine may feed paper from the wrong paper source or may not print with the proper print quality.

Other image or movie types such as RAW images cannot be printed. The machine accepts images scanned and saved with the machine when Doc.type is set to Photo and Format is set to JPEG (file extension ".jpg").

Page 89 Replacing an Ink Tank When remaining ink cautions or errors occur, the message will appear on the LCD to inform you of the error. Take appropriate action according to the message. If print results become faint or white streaks appear despite sufficient ink levels, see Maintenance Procedure.
