Engine does not start at all or is very difficult to start.

Possible cause
Emergency on/off switch (kill switch)
Side stand extended and gear engaged
Gear engaged and clutch not disengaged
No fuel in tank
Battery drained

Remedy
Adjust emergency on/off switch (kill switch) to nor-
mal operating position.
Engage neutral or fold up the side stand.
Place transmission in neutral or disengage clutch.
Refueling ( 72).
Charge connected battery ( 111).
