TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

PROBLEM
General
Circuit breaker trips or fuse
blows when unit is turned on
Lights dim in room while the

SOLUTION
Trace wiring in unit.
Additional appliances may exceed the current rating of
the circuit breaker or fuse. Plug unit into another outlet
or install unit on a dedicated 15 amp circuit.
Move the unit to another outlet or install unit on a dedi-
cated 15 amp circuit
The power cord may get slightly warm to the touch
when the heater is on
Replace power cord if cord gets hot to the touch.
Unplug the unit for 15 minutes to allow the unit to de-
energize and reset the main control board
Install a power regulator board between the main con-
trol board and the heater assembly
Refer to Operation Section
Check Fuse/Breaker Panel
Check wiring connections
Replace the gWave
assembly
TM
Ensure sensor area is clear of objects and the unit is
not situated where direct beams/reflections of light can
shine into sensor
Refer to Operation Section
Install new battery into the remote control.
Replace the remote control
Replace the floating display assembly
Check wiring connections
Replace Flicker Motor
Replace the main control board
Check wiring connections
Replace flame LED light assembly
Replace the main control board
Replace Flicker Motor
Check wiring connections
Replace media LED light assembly or log set
Replace electronics junction board
Replace the main control board
Replace media LED light assembly
Replace the main control board
