printed on is different from the
size of paper specified in the
printer driver.
The paper size set from the
printer driver is different from
the size of paper loaded into
Tray 2.
The printer's top cover is
open.
The imaging cartridge is not
installed.
A imaging cartridge incompati-
ble with the machine is
installed.
The X toner cartridge has
reached the end of its life.
The X toner cartridge is not
installed.
The X toner cartridge is empty.

ACTION menu is set to STOP.)
do this...
Load the correct paper on
Tray1, and press the Menu
Select key, then specify the
size and type of the paper.
Open Tray 2 and keep
correct paper size. Then
close Tray 2.
Specify the correct paper
size in the
MAIN MENU/
PAPER MENU/INPUT
TRAY/TRAY2/MEDIA
menu.
SIZE
Close the top cover.
Install the imaging cartridge.
Replace the imaging car-
tridge with a correct one.
Replace the toner cartridge.
If the
MAIN MENU/
QUALITY MENU/
TONER OUT
menu is set
ACTION
to
CONTINUE
Install a X toner cartridge.
Replace the toner cartridge.
If the
MAIN MENU/
QUALITY MENU/

menu is set
