Important: Remove and discard the protective plastic
sheet that covers the engine.

Unfolding the Handle

Procedure
WARNING
Assembling and unfolding the handle improperly
can damage the cables, causing an unsafe operating
condition.
• Do not damage the cables when assembling and
unfolding the handle.
• If a cable is damaged, contact an Authorized
Service Dealer.
1. Loosen the handlebar knobs (Figure 3).
1. Blade control bar
2. Hold the blade-control bar against the handlebar,
unfold the handlebar to the proper operating position,
then release the blade-control bar.
3. Tighten the handlebar knobs.

1. Insert the frame into the grass bag, keeping the handle
above the grass bag (Figure 4).
