• Lift the hood to expose the back side
of the headlight assembly.
• Pull both locking tabs away from light
bulb and pull wire harness away.
See Figure 17.
• Remove the light bulb from the
reflector by turning counterclockwise.
The light bulb will be free of the
reflector when the notches in the
reflector and the tabs on the bulb are
aligned.
• Replace light bulb with like part.
• Align the tabs on the light bulb and
the notches in the reflector and insert
light bulb.
• Turn light bulb clockwise to lock in
place.
Connect wire harness and
make sure that the locking tabs are
seated on the light bulb.
Taillight Bulb Replacement
Each taillight reflector has two light
bulbs.
Access the back side of the
taillights by reaching under the fender.
To replace a light bulb:
• Turn
the
light
counterclockwise to align the tabs on
the light bulb with the notches in the
taillight reflector.
• Once aligned pull light socket away
from taillight reflector.
• Remove the light bulb from the wire
harness by grasping the light bulb
and wire harness connectors where
they meet and pulling straight apart.
• Replace light bulbs with like part.
• Plug the new light bulb connector into
the wiring harness. Align the tabs on
the light bulb and the notches in the
taillight reflector and insert light bulb.
• Turn light bulb clockwise to lock in
place.
Make sure the light bulb is
locked securely in place.

Tire Inflation

Keep the pneumatic tires properly
inflated.
Over-inflation
operator discomfort. Under-inflation will
cause short tire life.
Improperly inflated tires will also affect
the level of the mower deck and quality
of cut.
See the tire side wall for proper inflation
range.
Always ensure that the tire valve caps
are in place and tightened securely to
prevent loss of air and to protect the
valve core and stem.
Do not overload the tractor tires by
mounting equipment on the tractor
which exceeds the load capacity of the
size of the tires on the tractor.
Off-Season Storage
If the machine is to be inoperative for a
period longer than 30 days, the
following
