Tilt Lock Lever

TILT LOCK LEVER
FREE
LOCK
Use the tilt lock lever to raise the
outboard motor and lock it in the
position when the boat is moored or
anchored for a long time.
Tilt the outboard motor as far as it
goes and move the lock lever in the
locking direction.

Trim Tab

TIGHTENING
BOLT
TRIM TAB
If the steering wheel/handle is pulled
to the side while running at full
speed, adjust the trim tab so that the
boat runs straight ahead.
Loosen the tightening bolt and turn
the trim tab right or left to adjust.
CONTROLS AND FEATURES

Anode

ANODE
(each side)
The anode is a sacrificial material
which helps to protect the outboard
motor from corrosion.
Do not paint the anode. It
deteriorates the function of the
anode, which can lead to rust and
corrosion damage to the outboard
motor.
