About synchronization between your m:robe and
m:trip
Connecting your m:robe and your PC allows you to synchronize and transfer music data between your m:robe
and m:trip. This function is called "synchronization."
For example, information added to files on m:trip will appear in your m:robe. You can also manage the m:robe
data on m:trip by setting each audio file to synchronize or not; check/uncheck the "Sync Checkbox" which is
beside each track to set to synchronize or not.
– Audio file formats supported by m:robe
• WMA (including VBR)
• MP3 (including VBR)
Tip
Files that are not supported by m:robe cannot be transferred from your PC to your m:robe.
About audio file synchronization
You can organize audio files with m:trip. If there is a file on m:trip which you do not want to transfer to your
m:robe though you want to keep it on m:trip, uncheck the "Sync Checkbox" beside its track on the m:trip screen
to prevent the file from synchronizing.
You can also use the "Sync Checkbox" to delete files in your m:robe. Unchecking the "Sync Checkbox" of the
file you want to delete on m:trip will delete the file next time you synchronize your m:robe and m:trip.
Note
If you delete files on m:trip, these files will be also deleted automatically from your m:robe next time you synchronize.
Tips
• You can use m:trip to organize and backup stored data on your PC. Afterwards, be careful not to remove or delete the data
in m:trip.
• If you have two or more m:robes, you can organize the data of each m:robe with one PC. You can manage up to 8 m:robes
with one PC. However, you cannot manage one m:robe with 2 or more PCs. For details, refer to the m:trip online Help.
