Setting Time Interval before Stand-by (In the Shooting Modes)

The power save function puts the camera into the stand-by mode automatically if the camera is not operated for a set time using
the procedure below. The camera also enters the stand-by mode when viewing images as well as when taking pictures. To resume
viewing images this case, simply press the ON/OFF button.

Setting Monitor Brightness

The procedure below explains how to set LCD monitor brightness.

Set the mode dial to "P", "A" or "M".

Press the [
] button.
The first menu will appear on the LCD monitor.

Align the cursor with
dial.

Select [SLEEP] with the right point of the jog dial.

Select the interval before entering into the stand-by mode with
the top/bottom point of the jog dial.

Press the [OK] button.
Operating the shutter release button, zoom lever, or power button
reactivates the camera.
MEMO
• Power is not automatically shut off when using a separately sold AC
adapter.
• The power is automatically shut OFF after the predetermined interval
in stand-by mode.
