Perform the following steps before any troubleshooting

Turn the camera off, and remove the battery. After approx. one minute. insert the battery again, and turn the camera on .

Charging the Battery
The battery is not charged at shipment. Charge the battery before use.

Plug the charger in.
The charging indicator wililighl.

Charge the battery.
Charging is complete when the charging indicator turns off.
Open the battery-chamber cover.

Be sure the camera is off before opening the battery-chamber cover.

Inserting the Battery

Insert the battery.
Check the label in the battery-chamber. Face the gold contacts
downward and insert the battery into the battery-chamber,
pressing the battery latch with the battery in the direction shown
below. Confirm that the battery is securely latched.

Close the battery-chamber cover.
