Restrictions when using
the built-in flash
When the focal length is 24 mm
or less and the shooting
distance is 0.8 m or less,
vignetting may occur.
When the focal length is less
than 24 mm, or when the focal
length is 35 mm and the
shooting distance is 1 m or less,
vignetting may occur.
Vignetting may occur if the
focal length is less than 35 mm.
Vignetting may occur if the
focal length is less than 24 mm.
Vignetting may occur if the
focal length is less than 36 mm.
Vignetting may occur if the
focal length is 28 mm and the
shooting distance is less than
1 m.
The built-in flash always
discharges fully.

Using the Aperture Ring

The shutter can be released even if the aperture ring of the D
FA, FA, F, or A lens is not set to the 9 position or a lens without
an 9 position is attached.
Select [Enable] in [24 Using Aperture
Ring] of the E4 menu.
The following restrictions apply depending on the lens being
used.
