Engineering improvements
STIHL's philosophy is to continually
improve all of its products. For this
reason we may modify the design,
engineering and appearance of our
products periodically.
Therefore, some changes, modifications
and improvements may not be covered
in this manual.
Safety Precautions and
Working Techniques
Because this unit is a
high-speed, fast-cutting
power tool with very
sharp cutters and a long
reach, special safety pre-
cautions must be
observed during
operation.
It is important that you
read the instruction man-
ual before first use and
keep it in a safe place for
future reference. Non-
observance of the
instruction manual may
result in serious or even
fatal injury.
Notes on Usage
Use your cordless pole saw for limbing
only (cutting or pruning branches) – not
for felling.
Use your cordless pole saw only for
cutting wood and wooden objects.
Do not use your power tool for any other
purpose because of the increased risk of
accidents.
General Notes
Observe all applicable local safety
regulations, standards and ordinances.
The use of noise emitting power tools
may be restricted to certain times by
national or local regulations.
