Getting Started

To set up your Mustang™ Mini amplifier:
1. Plug in the power adapter cord or install 6 "C" cell batteries.
2. Plug your guitar into the INPUT jack.
3. Press the POWER switch to turn the amplifier ON.
4. Adjust the MASTER volume level.
MASTER volume is the only knob you need to adjust at first. All
other knob settings are programmed as part of each PRESET!

Using Presets

Use the PRESET knob to select one of 24 presets. Presets are stored in
three banks, colored AMBER, GREEN and RED, in the following order:
AMBER
4 GREEN 4 RED
Each preset is based on one of the eight amplifier types labeled next to
each of the preset LEDs , and may include effects which can be turned
"off" with the EFFECTS knob.
The RED and GREEN banks are for storing your own presets.
The AMBER bank of presets can only be modified using Fender®
FUSE™ software, available free of charge at fuse.fender.com.
Programmable Knobs
Your Mustang amplifier gives you the powerful ability to save every setting
on the amplifier as part of a preset. When you select a preset, the levels of

each knob, including effects, are instantly loaded to your pre-programmed
settings! Because the setting of every knob on your Mustang ampli-
fier (except MASTER) is programmed into each preset, the position of each
knob will NOT show the actual knob setting when you first select a preset.
The programmable knobs are "inactive" until turned.
Simply turn a knob to activate it and adjust its current setting. The knob
will remain active until you select a different preset, at which time all
the programmable knobs become inactive again.
Rotate knobs to activate.
You may hear a significant change in volume or tone when you
first turn a programmable knob as the Preset setting for the
knob instantly shifts to the activated knob position.
