data transmission through Verizon Wireless in the United
States.
Set up a Data Account with Verizon
Your unit's MEID was registered with Verizon Wireless at the
factory. You need to contact Verizon to set up service for
the CDMA modem and obtain an account. If you already
have a business account with Verizon, your unit may be
able to be added to the account. You need to provide the
following information when setting up an account:
Billing Information and business ID, such as your Federal Tax
I.D.
The wireless services required. Specify that you need data
and messaging (SMS) services only. Since the Archer 2
is not designed for voice transmission, you do not need
voice service.
You need the modem's MEID number, which can be found
by following these steps:
a. Boot up the handheld.
b. Power up the cellular modem by tapping the 3G
Modem gadget on the Juniper home screen.
c. Wait about 20 seconds for the modem to turn on.
The gadget will turn red for a moment and indicate
Unavailable briefly. This is normal.
