Procedure 7.13 - Replacing a Handlebar
Procedure
1.
1. Set the on/off switch in the off position.
2. Remove the bolt that fastens the lower end of the handlebar to the secondary link.
3. Remove three bolts and washers that fasten the handlebar to the upper pivot.
4. Set the replacement handlebar in it's mounting position and hand start the three bolts and
washers, removed in step 3, that fasten the handlebar to the upper pivot.
5. Hand start the bolt, removed in step 2, that fastens the handlebar to the secondary link.
6. Torque the four bolts in step 4 and 5 to 156 in/lb.
7. Set the on/off switch in the on position and thoroughly test the EFX per Section Four.
