• If the volume of the right speaker is low:
Turn the dial clockwise (,) or press the

If the volume of the left speaker is low:

• The balance can be set to "CENTER" or
adjusted within the range of +1 to +10 in
steps of 1. When set "CENTER", the
difference between the volume of the left and
right speakers is 0.

SYSTEM FUNCTIONS

Operation is even easier when the components in the 201SA series are connected to the PMA-201SA with system

connections. (For instructions on connections, refer to "CONNECTIONS" on page 5, 6.)
All the system function signals for operating the components in the 201SA series are output from the PMA-201SA,
VOLUME

so be sure to connect the PMA-201SA when making system connections.
SOURCE DIRECT
The system functions will only work when the components of the 201SA series are connected. They will not work

with other components.
INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER PMA-201SA
When system connections are made, the system functions described below can be used.

(1) The system remote control unit (RC-906) included with the PMA-201SA can be used to perform the main
operations on the other components.
(2) The remote control signals of the other components are received by the PMA-201SA's remote sensor.
(3) Auto power on function:
When the system is set to the standby mode, the power turns on automatically when the PLAY/PAUSE button

( 1 3 ) on the CD player (DCD-201SA), cassette deck (DRR-201SA), and MD recorder (DMD-201SA) is pressed,
and playback begins. In addition, if one of the preset buttons (PRESET UP or DOWN) on the tuner (TU-201SA) is

pressed, the tuner's power turns on and the radio program is tuned in.
(4) Auto function selection:
The function automatically switches when the PLAY/PAUSE button ( 1 3 ) on the CD player (DCD-201SA),
cassette deck (DRR-201SA), and MD recorder (DMD-201SA) is pressed, and playback begins.

(5) CD synchronized recording:
CDs can be recorded on the cassette deck (DRR-201SA), MD recorder (DMD-201SA) simply by pressing the CD
SRS button on the cassette deck.
(6) Simultaneous recording:
When the PLAY/PAUSE button ( 1 3 ) on the CD player (DCD-201SA) is pressed while the cassette deck (DRR-
201SA), MD recorder (DMD-201SA) is set to the recording pause mode, recording starts automatically.
(7) Timer functions:
The timer functions on the tuner (TU-201SA) can be used to start playback or record radio programs ("air check")
at set times. The sleep timer can also be used.
For instructions on the various operations, refer to the components' operating instructions.
