One Door Reversal
Note: If you have a two door appliance (see
page 12).
WARNING: Switch off electrical supply
and pull out mains plug.
Hotpoint recommend that you remove loose
items/fittings from inside the appliance and
place food into insulated containers whilst
carrying out this operation.
Note: You may require assistance to carefully
lay the appliance onto it's back onto a suitable
protective material (ie. original packaging).
Remove Door
1. Unscrew, remove and retain both front feet,
bottom hinge, screws and spacing washers.
2. Unscrew metal plate from front bottom
left and refit on opposite side.
3. Slightly open door, slide downwards,
remove and carefully place to one side.
4. Use a suitable tool to unscrew and remove
top hinge, refit on opposite side ensuring
hinge pin is on the outer edge.
Replace Door
5. Use a thin blunt instrument to remove top
and bottom hinge bushes and blanking
plugs (take care not to mark the handle).
Reposition on opposite side.
6. Slide door upwards, locate top hinge pin in
door bush.
7. Fit bottom hinge with spacing washers
into bottom hinge bush, ensuring door is
aligned to cabinet.
8. Use the fixing screw to secure the bottom
hinge to the cabinet.
9. Replace adjustable feet, allowing 35mm
four are in firm contact with the floor and the
appliance does not rock (see Adjusting the
Feet on page 5).
Note: Replace items/fittings, stabilise and
stand upright in final resting position for at
least 15 minutes before switching on.
