Sending Methods

Load the original on the Platen Glass or in the ADF.

Press the FAX button.

Adjust fax settings as necessary.

Dial the recipient's number using the Numeric buttons or speed dial.

Press the Color button for color sending, or the Black button for black & white
sending.
Dialing the Registered Numbers
One-Touch Speed Dial

Press the One-Touch Speed Dial button (01 to 08) assigned the number you want
to dial.
Coded Speed Dial
1
Press the Coded Dial button.

Use the Numeric buttons or the {, }, [, or ] button to select the two-digit code
(00 to 99) assigned the number you want to dial, then press the OK button.
Registering One-Touch Speed Dial or Coded Speed Dial
There is also a group dial method to send a document to all numbers in the registered group. For
details, refer to "Registering Recipients for the Speed Dial" in the User's Guide on-screen
manual.

Press the FAX button, then press the Menu button.

Use the [ or ] button to select TEL number registration, then press the OK
button.

Use the { or } button to select One-touch speed dial or Coded speed dial, then
press the OK button.
If you select One-touch speed dial:
Use the { or } button to select an unoccupied one-touch speed dial (01 to 08), then
press the OK button.
If you select Coded speed dial:
Use the Numeric buttons or the {, }, [, or ] button to select an unoccupied speed dial
code (00 to 99), then press the OK button.

Use the Numeric buttons to enter a name for the one-touch speed dial or the speed
dial code (max. 16 characters, including spaces), then press the OK or } button.
