4. Inspection:
If the flasher self-canceling system
should become inoperative. proceed as
follows:
a. Pull off the 6-pin connector from the
fias her canceling unit. and operate the
handlebar switch.
If the signaloperates normally in L. R.
and OFF. the following are in good con ­
dition:
1) Flasher unit.
2) Bulb.
3) Lighting circuit.
4) Handlebar switch light circuit.
If 1) through 4) are in good condition.
the following may be faulty:
1) Flasher canceling unit.
2) Handlebar switch reset circuit.
3) Speedometer sensor circuit
b. Pull off the 6-pin connector from the
flasher canceling unit, and connect a
tester (ohms x 100 range) across the
white/green and the black lead wires on
the wire harness side. Turn the
speedometer shaft. If the tester needle
swing back and forth. four times be ­
tween O and 00. the speedometer sensor
circuit is in good condition. If not. the

continuity between the yellow/red lead

wire on the wire harness side and the
chassis.

4. Inspection:
Si le systeme d'arret automatique des
c1ignoteurs devenait inoperant, proceder
comme suit:
a. Sortir le connecteur 6-broches de I'unite
d'arret des clignoteurs, et actionner le com­
mutateur sur guidon.
Si le signal fonctionne normalement sur les
positions L, R, et OFF, les parties
suivantes sont en bon etat :
1)
Vnite des cJignoteurs.
2) Ampoule.
3) Circuit d'eclairage.
4) Circuit du commutateur sur guidon.
Si les parties l)
il
4) sont en bon etat, les
parties suivantes peuvent etre defectueuses:
1)
Unite d'arret des c1ignoteurs.
2) Circuit de remise en position du com­
mutateur sur guidon.
3) Circuit du percepteur de l'indicateur de
vitesse.
b. Sortir le connecteur 6-broches de I'unite
d'arret des clignoteurs, et brancher un
testeur (echelle ohms X 100) entre les fils
blanc/vert et noir du cöte du faisceau de
fils. Tourner I'axe de I'indicateur de vitesse.
Si I'aiguille du testeur oscille quatre fois
entre O et 00, le circuit du percepteur de
"indicateur de vitesse est en bon etat. Si ee
n'est pas le eas, le percepteur ou le
faisceau de fils peut etre inoperant.
c. Sorti r le eonnecteur 6-broehes de I'unite
d'arret des clignoteurs. Contröler s'il
y
a
eontinuite entre le fil jaune!rouge du
faiseeau de fils et le ehåssis.
)
4. Inspektion
Falls die Blinker-Abschaltautomatik
schadhaft ist. wie folgt vorgehen:
a. Den 6-poligen Stecker von der Blinker ­
Abschalteinheit abziehen und den
Lenkerschalter betätigen.
Arbeiten die Blinkleuchten normal bei
auf Position L. R und OFF gestelltem
Schalter. dann sind die folgenden
Bauteile in gutem Zustand:
1) Blinkereinheit
2) GIOhbirnen
3) Lichtschaltkreis
4) Schaltkreis des Lenkerschalters
Sind die Bauteile 1) bis 4) in gutem
Zustand. dann liegt der Fehler wahr­
scheinlich an einem der
fol~nden
Bauteile.
1) Blinker-Abschaltautomatik
2) Ruckstellschaltkreis des Lenkerschalters
3) Schaltkreis des Geschwindigkeits ­
messer-Sensors
b. Den 6-poligen Stecker von der Blinker­
Abschalteinheit abziehen und ein
PrOfgerät (Bereich Ohm x 100 an den
weiB/grunen und schwarzen Leitungs­
draht an der Kabelbaumseite ansch ­
lieBen. Die Weil e des Geschwindigkeits­
reglers drehen. Falls die Anzeigenadel
des PrOfgerätes ausschlägt und wieder
zuruckkehrt (viermal zwischen O und
00). dann ist der Schaltkreis des Ge­
schwindigkeitsmesser-Sensors in
gutem Zustand. Wenn nicht ist wahr­
schei nlich der Sensor oder der Kabel ­
baum schadhaft.
c. Den 6-poligen Stecker von der Blinker-
Abschalteinheit abziehen. Danach
