No sound.
Picture is too dark, too light

connected.

Wrong brightness adjustment in menu.
Antenna cable is not correctly
connected.

Batteries exhausted.
Obstacle in the way.
Dirty remote control sensor on TV.

Possible causes
Mains supply missing.
Main power switch is off.
Blown fuse or circuit breaker.
Micro-controller confused by electrical
disturbance.
Channel, installation, child or keyboard
lock is switched on (if fitted).

Turn the volume up.
Press the mute button to release 'mute'.
Disconnect headphones.
Adjust saturation in menu.
Adjust brightness in menu.
Connect antenna cable properly.
What to do
Insert new batteries.
Remove any objects and aim from straight in
front of the remote sensor with a clear line of
sight.
Try to clean the remote control sensor lens
on the TV with a soft cloth.
What to do
Check the power switches on the television
and at the power outlet. Check power is
present at the outlet.
Check the fuse or circuit breaker at your
main fuse box. Look for a possible cause of
failure before you replace or re-set it.
Switch off main power and wait five minutes
before trying again. (Leave the TV unplugged
and call a service engineer if this does not
work.)
