Remove and Replace the Focus and Zoom Rings

The zoom ring (340-0908-xx) and the focus ring (340-0909-xx) allow adjustment of the image size and
image sharpness. They fasten to the projection lens barrel with small machine screws.
1 Remove the following items:
Top case (see page 13)
Controller ECA (see page 16)
Optical engine (see page 34)
2 Use a #00 Phillips screwdriver to remove the three M1.7x4 black machine screws from the rear of
the zoom ring
3 Push back the zoom ring to reveal the three screws on the focus ring. Use a #00 Phillips
screwdriver to remove the three M1.7x4 black machine screws.
