Remove and Replace the Keypad

The keypad (526-0106-xx) fastens to the top case. The keypad is included as part of the top case, but is
available separately.
1 Remove the top case (see page 13).
2 The keypad adheres to the outside of case with a layer of adhesive. Use a screwdriver to press
against the keypad from inside of the top case. Once the keypad is separated from the top case,
slide a flat head screwdriver beneath the edge of the keypad from the top. Carefully separate the
keypad from the well in the top of the case.
