8. Adjustment of white balance
Start up the set and adjust the white balance.
1. Place the set under the following conditions.
AV Mode: [DYNAMIC]
Monochrome: [ON] Black: [OFF]
Feed the component 15k (60Hz) adjustment signal via INPUT3 to display the adjustment screen (High: 70%,
Low: 30%).
2. Execute the automatic adjustment.
1) In order for the 70% pattern to become the reference value (page 11/16), adjust the "MONITOR_R_
GAMMA_HI ", "MONITOR_G_GAMMA_HI" and "MONITOR_B_GAMMA_HI" settings.
2) In order for the 30% pattern to become the reference value (page 11/16), adjust the "MONITOR_R_
GAMMA_LO ", "MONITOR_G_GAMMA_LO" and "MONITOR_B_GAMMA_LO" settings.

Make adjustments so that x=0.272 and y=0.275. (70% gray scale)
Make adjustments so that x=0.272 and y=0.275. (30% gray scale)
Adjustment conditions
Supply XGA (1024x768_60Hz) window pattern signal to the DVI-I (analog)
DVI-I (digital)
input.
Bring the cursor on [ËDVI DIGITAL ADJ] and press [OK].
[ËDVI DIGITAL ADJ FINISH] appears when finished.
