6.2 MODULE INSTALLATION/REMOVAL

The SAM (or SIM) modules are installed under the SAM cover.
Slot 1 is used for the SIM for GSM/GPRS terminals.
Precaution: Disconnect the terminal before opening the SAM cover.
•
Open the SAM cover (see "SAM cover" above):
Look for the marking of the SAM2, SAM3 slots inside.
• Install the SAM in its slot with the angled corner
positioned as shown in the illustration opposite; this
positioning is also indicated inside.
• Close the SAM access cover.

6.3 MMC OR SDCARD INSTALLATION/REMOVAL

Get access to the MMC or SDCARD slot under the SAM cover.
Precaution: Disconnect the product before opening the SAM cover.
Installing an MMC or SDCARD:
• Open the SAM access cover.
• Insert the MMC or SDCARD fully into the slot shown
by the arrow in the illustration opposite. Position the
angled corner correctly.
• Close the SAM access cover.
Removing an MMC or SDCARD:
• Open the SAM access cover.
• Remove the MMC or SDCARD by pressing it to eject.
• Close the SAM access cover.
