Resetting the device to the default settings

If you give your device to a third party or change workstation, you can delete your indi-
vidual settings and data by resetting the device to the factory settings. All system settings
are reset to the default settings. User-specific data is deleted.
This means that network configurations, VoIP accounts, directories, call lists, data in the
resource directory and all of your individual settings are deleted or reset to the factory
settings.
You need the administrator password before you can use this function (

Enter the administrator password.

Press the display key. The password is verified.
If the password is correct, you must now confirm the operation.

Press the display key. The device is reset to the factory settings.
Resetting via device button
You can also reset the device by using the reset button on the underside of the device.

opening labelled Reset. Use a pointed item, e.g.,
a paper clip.

5 seconds to return all settings to the factory
