POSSIBLE CAUSES
The date recorded with the image data is wrong.
1 The date is not set.
2 The camera has been
left for too long with the
batteries removed and
the date/time setting
was canceled.
Your customized settings have been canceled.
1 You turned off the
power without saving
the settings.
1 The flash is pushed
down.
2 The subject is lighted.
3 The drive mode is set
to auto-bracketing.
4 The drive mode is set
to sequential shooting
or AF sequential
shooting when using
the Red-Eye Reduction
or Night Scene With
Red-Eye Reduction
flash mode.
5 You are recording
movies.
6 Panorama shooting is
set.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
1 Set the date. The clock
adjustment is not factory-
preset.
2 Set the date again.
1 Set ALL RESET to OFF.
The flash does not fire.
1 Press the flash switch to
raise the flash.
2 Set the flash to Fill-In mode.
3 Press DRIVE to change to
single-frame shooting.
4 Press DRIVE to change to
single-frame shooting.
5 Set the mode dial to any
position other than
6 Cancel the Panorama mode.
