6. Aligning the ADP25H (with the hard disk attached) with the rails inside the 2.5" HARD DISK DRIVE slot, push
it in until it clicks into place.
7. Use the screws that you removed in step 3 to fasten the ADP25H into the 2.5" HARD DISK DRIVE slot.
If you fail to tighten the screws all the way, the hard disk may vibrate and fail to operate correctly.
• Do not turn on the power of the AW4416 until all options have been installed.
• When you turn on the power of the AW4416 after installing a new hard disk, formatting of the hard disk will begin
automatically.

CD-RW DRIVE INSTALLATION

The SCSI ID of the CD-RW drive
• The SCSI ID of the AW4416 itself is fixed at "6." For this reason, you must set the SCSI ID of the CD-RW drive to "6"
before installing it.
• In the various screens of the AW4416, the SCSI ID of the internal CD-RW drive has been set to "3" by default. For this
reason, you will find it conve-nient to set the ID of the CD-RW to "3." (For details on setting the SCSI ID, refer to the
manual for your CD-RW drive.)
• If you are installing a CD-RW drive manufactured by Yamaha, the SCSI ID will be set to "3" at the factory, and we
recommend that you leave it at this setting.
