    Programming can also be performed remotely from the installer’s office/home, using an IBM personal computer, a modem, using either Ademco’s V-Link ® downloading software (Rev. 4 or higher) or Ademco’s Compass Windows downloading software.

    ZONE RESPONSE TYPE DEFINITIONS Type 00 Program a zone with this zone type if the zone is not used. Zone Not Used Type 01 This zone type provides entry delay whenever the zone is faulted if the control Entry/Exit Burglary is armed in the AWAY or STAY modes.
  • Page 12 Type 20 This is a special-purpose zone type used with 5800 series wireless pushbutton Arm–Stay units which will result in arming the system in the STAY mode when the zone is activated. Pushbutton units send zone number as a user number to central station when arming or disarming.

    DATA FIELD DESCRIPTIONS The blank programming form in this manual should be used to record the data for this installation. The following is a list of all data fields in this control (presented in numerical order). This list provides an explanation of each data field, and will serve as a reference for all fields in the system.
  • Page 14 ZONE SOUNDS AND SINGLE ALARM SOUNDING PER ZONE Default is 0. TIMING (Per Armed Period) (1-Digit Entry) ( 28– 39) This field limits external alarm sounding to once per arming period for a given zone. Enter 1 for yes; 0 for no. For UL installations, enter 0 for unlimited Alarm Soundings FIRE SOUNDER TIMEOUT (1-Digit Entry)

Pager displays: This indicates that Subscriber No. 1234’s system is reporting an opening (001) by User 5 (005). Note that no restore reports are sent to the pager.
