Cruise Control

The cruise control buttons are located
on the right side of the steering wheel.
Setting Cruise Control
1. Press the ON-OFF button to turn on
cruise control. An indicator light on
the instrument panel cluster will
illuminate.
2. Accelerate to the desired speed.
3. Press the SET button and release it.
4. Take your foot off the accelerator
pedal.
Resuming a Set Speed
To return to a set speed after having
used the brakes, briefly press the
RESUME button. You must be going
more than 24 mph. This returns the
vehicle to its set speed.
Increasing Speed
To increase your speed while using
cruise control:
• Use the accelerator to reach the
desired speed; then press the SET
button. Release the button and the
accelerator pedal.
• Press the RESUME button until you
reach the desired speed; then
release the button.
Reducing Speed
To reduce speed while using cruise
control:
• Press the SET button until you
reach the desired lower speed; then
release it.
• To slow down in very small amounts,
briefly press the SET button. Each
time you do this, you'll reduce vehicle
speed by 1 mph.
Ending Cruise Control
To deactivate cruise control:
• Step lightly on the brake pedal, or
push the clutch pedal if you have a
manual transaxle.
• Press the ON-OFF button.

Power Door Locks and Lockout
Protection
Your vehicle may have a central door
locking/unlocking system that is activat-
ed from the driver door. When the driver
door is closed, pushing the lock knob
down (shown below) centrally locks all
doors.
To prevent accidental lockouts, this func-
tion will not operate when the driver
door is open, and the driver door itself
will not lock when it is open.
You can also lock or unlock your vehicle
with the ignition key, or by using the
optional Remote Keyless Entry
transmitter. To further prevent lockouts,
the Remote Keyless Entry System will
not lock the driver door if it is open.
However, central locking will lock all
doors if the driver door is closed and
other doors are open.
