3. The flexible cable may be cut off if an excessive force is applied to
it. Use caution when handling the cable.
4. The half-fixed resistor for laser power adjustment cannot be
adjusted. Do not turn the resistor.

4.2. Replacement procedure for the optical pickup

1. Connect the Flexible cable to the connector on the terminal P.C.B..
2. Cut the optical unit FPC at the point shown below. (As shown in
Fig. 2.)
