Choosing a Text Entry Method
Multiple text entry methods make it easy for you to enter names,
numbers, and messages.

Using the Tap Method
This is the standard entry method for entering text on your phone.

Let the phone predict each word as you
enter it, then choose the word from a list
(see page 32).
Enter characters one at a time by pressing
the key for the letter, number, or symbol
(see page 30). This is the standard
method for entering text.
