The following refer to specific problems:
Problem
My phone was
stolen. To whom
should I report
this?
I forgot my
password.
I pressed the End/
Power key, but
nothing happened.
The display says:

Insert SIM Card
even

though I have
inserted my SIM
card in the phone.
The display says:

unblock my SIM

Solution
Report a stolen phone to the police
and to your service provider (the
company that sends you your
monthly wireless service bill).
See page 37 for information about
what to do if you forget a code or
password. .
Be sure to press and hold O (the
End/Power key) until the display
appears and you hear an audible
alert (this could take a couple of
seconds). If nothing happens, check
that the battery is charged and
correctly installed. See page 19.
The SIM card may be incorrectly
inserted. Check the SIM card to make
sure that it is inserted properly as
described on page 16. Make sure
that you have a valid 3 volt SIM card.
Note: Be sure to turn your phone off
and then back on after you re-insert
the SIM card.
Call your service provider (the
company that sends you your
monthly wireless service bill) to
obtain the PIN unblocking key (PUK)
code. See page 97.
