1. Intel® Server Family Overview
This document is provided to assist Intel customers with identifying the right Intel® server system and available accessories, enabling them to create a unique
server platform that meets their unique server requirements.
The Intel® S2600KP product family is offered as building block. The product family consists of the following:
Intel® Server Chassis H2312XXKR2
Server Building Blocks:
 Intel® Server Board S2600KP – Server Board only (Building block option and spare FRU)
 Intel® Server Chassis H2000G product family – 2U Rack Mount Server Chassis
 Intel® Compute Module HNS2000KP product family – Compute Module integrated with an Intel® Server Board S2600KP
The Intel® S2600KP product family supports the following processors and memory:
 Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600 v3 product family
Note: Previous generation Intel® Xeon® processors are not supported.
