When waxing your vehicle, make sure that
the washer nozzles do not become
blocked. If a nozzle becomes blocked,
contact your Toyota dealer to have the
vehicle serviced.
NOTICE
If a nozzle becomes blocked, do not
try to clear it with a pin or other
object. The nozzle will be damaged.

Rear window wiper and
washer
To turn on the rear window wiper, twist
the lever knob upward.
The key must be in the "ON" position.
Lever position Speed setting
Position 1 Intermittent
Position 2 Normal
To squirt washer fluid on the rear window,
twist the knob upward or downward as far
as it will go (position 3 or 4). The knob
automatically returns from these positions
after you release it.
For instructions on adding washer fluid,
see "Adding washer fluid" on page 479 in
Section 7−3.

NOTICE
z Do not operate the rear wiper if the
rear window is dry. It may scratch
the glass.
z Do not lift the rear wiper arm away
from the window, as it may break.
