A check or fault indicator light comes on but the wash
programme continues as normal.
Problem
The Hygiene info check
indicator light comes
on.
The Check dosage
check indicator light
comes on.
The Main wash or Rin‐
ses indicator lights
flash in the programme
sequence display and a
fault number appears in
the display.
The Anti-crease/Finish
indicator light flashes in
the programme se‐
quence display.
To switch off the fault indicator: Switch the washing machine off with the  button
and turn the programme selector to Finish.
The check indicator lights come on at the end of a programme and when the
washing machine is switched on.
Possible cause and remedy
A programme of at least 60°C has not been run for a
long period of time.
 In order to prevent bacteria and unpleasant
odours building up in the machine, run the Cot‐
tons 90°C programme using powder detergent.
Excessive foam has built up during washing.
 Use less detergent next time and follow the manu‐
facturer's instructions on dosage given on the
packaging.
The washing machine has detected a fault during the
wash programme.
 Start the programme again. If the fault message
appears again, contact Miele.
The programme selector was moved to another posi‐
tion after the programme had started.
 Turn the programme selector back to the original
position.
