Once the assembly is loose you will be able to remove
the cable (or reattach it). As you can see the blue side
of the cable is facing towards the circuit board.
Tip- The cable just slides in to this connector. Just
gently push it in while holding it close to the end to
keep it from bending.
Now we need to remove the other side of the cable.
First you need to remove the two screws holing the
controller port in place. After you remove them you
can pull out on it a little, but be careful. There is a
cable attached. You can remove the cable if you wish,
it will make it a little easier to handle when turning the
console over, but it is not necessary. Next you need to
remove the bottom cover from the console and flip
everything over.
You should now have the console flipped upside down
with the bottom cover removed. You then will remove
the 2 screws holding the expansion bay in place. Then
remove the expansion bay.
