Technical Training

A. Overview
The Color imageRUNNER C2620/C3220 product training is included in the
Color imageRUNNER C3200 Course that focuses on three core areas:
1. Color Fundamentals
2. Color imageRUNNER C3200 Hardware (Printer/Reader)
3. Color Network Multi-PDL Printer Kit-A1 and imagePASS-C1 V. 2
The student will learn, through a combination of lecture, hands-on labs and
demonstrations, the fundamentals of Color, as well as Color imageRUNNER
technology. Training also includes troubleshooting, maintenance procedures,
and diagnostic techniques to support the products in stand-alone and
connected environments.
B. Certification
Service technicians who have previously received certification on the Color
imageRUNNER C3200 will automatically receive certification on the Color
imageRUNNER C2620/C3220.
The Color imageRUNNER C3200 training authorization is required as a
condition to sell the Clustering Kit. No additional training is available for the
Clustering Kit.
C. Who Should Attend
Field Technicians who are required to support the Color imageRUNNER
C3200 product line. Technicians servicing the Color imageRUNNER C3200
must have attained at least ONE of the prerequisites listed below.
D. Training Facilities
Training is available in each of the Canon regional offices.
• Jamesburg, New Jersey
• Norcross, Georgia
These state-of-the-art Educational Centers are complete with all the required
computer, network, and Canon products necessary to provide each student
with the highest quality training available.
All classes are delivered by highly experienced Canon Instructors who have
earned their CTT (Certified Technical Trainer) designation as well as industry-
recognized designations such as Novell and Microsoft certifications.
E. Prerequisites
• Color Connectivity Quest or
• imageRUNNER Connectivity Quest
It is strongly recommended, since this is the first MEAP enabled color device,
that the technician takes the imagePlatform MEAP Technology course.
