3. Checking the cadence sensor ID
Within five minutes after the formatting or the restarting operation, place the
main unit near the cadence sensor and press the reset button of the sensor for
five seconds. The checking of the sensor ID starts automatically, and the next
screen appears.
NOTE: The minimum transmission of the sensor is 20cm. The signal will be too
strong to perform the sensor ID check within 20cm of the main unit. If
the letter 'E' appears in Display-2, replace the battery of the sensor ac-
cording to the description on page 33. After this, repeat the formatting
operation (restarting operation).
* In the formatting operation, the ID checking is followed, "Selecting the speed unit."
In the restarting operation, the ID checking is the final set-up procedure. After this,
set the clock.(See page 23.)
4. Selecting the speed unit
By pressing the Mode-1 or the Mode-2 button, you can choose between km/h
or mph (miles per hour).
Press the START/ENTER button to select the unit. This is followed by the tire
circumference screen.

3. Contrôle d'identification de la cadence capteur
Dans un délai de cinq minutes après le formatage ou l'opération de relance,
placez l'appareil principal près de la cadence capteur, et appuyez pour remettre
à l'état initial le bouton du capteur pendant cinq secondes. Le contrôle d'identi-
fication du capteur commence automatiquement, et l'écran suivant apparaît.
REMARQUE : Vérifiez que la distance entre l'unité principale et le capteur est d'un mini-
mum de 20 cm afin d'empêcher une mauvaise réception de signaux d'iden-
tification. Ajustez la distance et réinitialisez le capteur. Si la lettre "E" appa-
raît dans l'Affichage-2, remplacez la pile du capteur selon les instructions
en page 33. Répétez ensuite la procédure de formatage (démarrage).
* Durant l'opération de formatage, le contrôle d'identification est suivi "Sélectlon de
l'unité de mesure". Pendant l'opération de relance, le contrôle d'identification est
suivi du procédé final d'installation.Réglez ensuite l'horloge. (Voir la page 23.)
4. Sélectlon de l'unité de mesure
En appuyant sur le MODE-1 ou le bouton MODE-2, vous pouvez choisir km/h ou
M/H (miles par heure).
Appuyer sur le bouton START/ENTER pour choisir l'unité. L'écran, "circonfé-
rence du pneu", apparaît ensuite.
