CAUTION
Precautions when sending your Wii U console or Wii U GamePad for repair
Please read the following precautions when sending your console or GamePad for repair in order to protect
them from damage during transit:
Packaging the Wii U console
• Wrap the console in cling film, a soft cloth or similar material.
Packaging the Wii U GamePad
• Use the original packaging from when the console was purchased to protect the screen from being
scratched or otherwise damaged.
Note: If you do not have the original packaging, please wrap the GamePad in a soft cloth or similar material.
Do not use cling film for the Wii U GamePad, as wrapping it too tightly may damage the control sticks or
buttons.
Precautions for boxing items
• Fill any excess space in the box with a cushioning material (such as bubble wrap or paper) to minimise
movement inside the box during transit.
• When packaging the Wii U GamePad, do not place anything heavy on top of the screen, such as the Wii U
console or its AC adapter.
