The height of cut is adjustable between 13mm (1/
2in) and 65mm (2 9/16in) to adjust:
1.
Turn the adjuster (A) clockwise (-) to reduce
the height of cut, or anticlockwise (+) to
increase the height of cut.
2.
Ensure that an equal amount of adjustment is
made to both adjusters on all the cutting units.
To assist in obtaining equal adjustment, the
inner sleeves of the adjusters are grooved at
6mm (1/4in) intervals.
3.
No other adjustments are necessary.
4.
The two screws (B) must not be altered as
they hold the rear roll in the required position
by the pre-tensioned disc spring (C). If
adjustment is necessary the screws should be
tightened to fully compress the disc spring (C)
and then backed off by 1/4 of a turn (90°).
NOTE:
The skid (D) is not adjustable.
