KNOWING YOUR OSTER®
BLENDER
Cover
The cover for your OSTER ® Blender consists of two
parts, the flip tab (1) and the cover (2). The cover is
self-sealing and is resistant to absorption of odors and
stains. The flip tab gives convenience for easy pouring
and opening.
Glass Jar
The glass jar (3) for the Blender is graduated for
easy measurement and is molded with heat and cold
resistant material. The handle and special lid design
gives easy removal of liquid mixtures.
Threaded Bottom Cap
Threaded Bottom Cap (4) with Ice Crush Blade
pulverizes ice for smooth frozen drinks.
Motor and Motor Base
The powerful 2-speed motor is the heart of the
appliance and is a dedicated design for Oster blender.
It is completely enclosed within the housing (5).
The motor uses a "free-floating" feature to reduce
noise and wear. This allows the square post which
protrudes from the motor base to move slightly
from side to side. To prevent the motor from being
overloaded, read this instruction manual carefully and
follow the instructions.
Speed Control
This blender has 2 speed settings: Low (I)-High (II).
Operate (6) at High on toughest ingredients and
achieve the finest result.
NOTE: DO NOT operate blender at any setting
continuously for more than 3 minutes.

TIGHTENING THE JAR
A. To tighten jar bottom, put assembled jar

stop. Using handle, turn jar to right until jar
bottom loosens.
Do not attempt to place the jar on or
attempt to remove it from the motor base
while the motor is running.
