Open the trunk.

Opening: Turn lock clockwise.

Pull cover downward in direction of

arrow.

Closing: Press cover backward.

Turn lock counterclockwise.

Fuse box in engine compartment

Open the hood.
Clamps

With a dry cloth, remove any moisture from
the fuse box 1.
X
Opening: Release wire from fuse box

cover.
X
Opening: Release clamps 1.
X
Remove fuse box cover.
X
Closing: Make sure the sealing rubber is
positioned properly.
X
Press fuse box cover down and secure with
clamps 1.
X
Fasten wire on fuse box cover.

Practical hints
! The fuse box cover must be installed
properly to prevent moisture and/or dirt
from entering the fuse box and possibly
impairing fuse operation.
X
Close the hood after checking or replacing
fuses.
