Creating a RAID driver disk

A floppy disk with the RAID driver is required when installing Windows
operating system on a hard disk drive that is included in a RAID set. Use the
support CD that came with the motherboard package to create a RAID driver disk.
To use the support CD:
1. Boot your computer and insert the support CD into the optical drive.
2. Make sure that the optical drive is the primary boot device. If not, set the
optical drive as the primary boot device in the BIOS.
3. Press the any key when the prompts "Press any key to boot from the optical
drive.". The following menu appears:
1) Make SIS RAID Driver Disk
2) Format Floppy Disk
3) FreeDOS command prompt
Please choose 1 ~ 3:_
4. Press <1> to create a RAID driver disk.
5. Insert a formatted floppy disk into the floppy drive then press <Enter>.
6. Follow the succeeding screen instructions to complete the process.
7. Write-protect the floppy disk to avoid computer virus infection.
To install the RAID driver:
1. During the OS installation, the system prompts you to press the <F6> key to
install third-party SCSI or RAID driver.
2. Press <F6> then insert the floppy disk with RAID driver into the floppy disk
drive.
3. Follow the succeeding screen instructions to complete the installation.
