Troubleshooting guide
4. The red light on the control panel remains on and/or the acoustic alarm is activated.
• The light and alarm are activated for the following reasons:
1. Temperature alarm (red light on and acoustic signal activated)
- Large amounts of fresh food have recently been placed in the product.
- The drawers do not close correctly (see the section "Using the product").
2. "Faulty refrigerator sensors" alarm (red led on, acoustic signal activated and the letters C or E appear
on the display)
- A refrigerator compartment temperature sensor is faulty, but the appliance continues to work
with an emergency procedure. Call the Customer Care Centre.
5. The letters "AF" appear on the display
• "Antibacterial filter" alarm indicates that the antibacterial filter is no longer effective (refer to
"Maintenance and cleaning") .
Notes:
- If the front edge of the appliance is hot at the drawer seal edge, this is not a fault and prevents the
formation of condensation.
- Should it not be possible to adjust the temperature or select any other function, ensure that the
"Control panel lock" is not activated.

After-Sales Service

Before contacting the Customer Care Centre:
Switch the appliance on again to see if the problem
has been eliminated. If it has not, switch off the
appliance and repeat the operation after one hour.
If your appliance still does not work properly after
carrying out the checks listed in the
troubleshooting guide and switching the appliance
on again, contact the Customer Care Centre,
clearly explaining the problem and specifying:
• the appliance type and serial number (given on
the rating plate).
• the type of fault.
• the model.
• the Service number (the number after the word
SERVICE on the rating plate inside the appliance).
• your full address.
• your telephone number and area code.
