D-PVLAN (and QVLAN, if QVLAN filtering is used). Therefore, in a
system with more than 32,768 Ethernet devices (MAC addresses)
where Aging Time has been set to be very high, the traffic from/to N-
32,768 devices will be broadcast, which may substantially increase the
amount of traffic in the ETHER-1000 system.
Aging Time set for a very low value may also contribute to increased
Ethernet traffic in the network if the periods of devices' inactivity are
typically longer than the Aging Time set.
Note: If a device is moved from one ETHER-1000 site to another, its
MAC address entry will be updated with the new site information in the
"WAN" MAC Address Tables across the ETHER-1000 system as soon
as the device becomes active (regardless of the Aging Time setting).
Note: The same MAC address can appear in different D-PVLANs or in
different QVLANs within the same D-PVLAN. These MACs will be
separate entries in the "WAN" MAC tables. (Note that this is different
from ETHER-100 unit operation where multiple instances of the same
MAC entry are not supported.)

maximum of four entries in each bin so a maximum of 8192 entries can
be stored in it.
Note: If the bin designated to store a new MAC address is full, the new
MAC address will be added to the bin by pushing its oldest entry out.
Note: If a device is moved from one local port to another local port that
belongs to the same D-PVLAN (or the same QVLAN if QVLAN filtering
is enabled), its MAC address entry will be updated with the new port
information as soon as the device becomes active or as soon as the
previous entry ages out, whichever comes later).
moved to another local port that belongs to a different D-PVLAN (or a
different QVLAN if QVLAN filtering is enabled), this will be registered
as a separate MAC address entry.
Note: The "LAN" Entries reading is also available at the bottom of the
Port Setup tab.

CAUTION: The same MAC address that appears on two local ports belonging to different D-
PVLANs using QVLAN filtering will produce two different MAC entries in the local "LAN" MAC
address table only if the two MACs appear on different QVLANs. Otherwise, traffic misrouting
may appear.
For example, the MAC address A that appears on Port 1, D-PVLAN#1,
QVLAN#100 and the MAC address A that appears on Port 2, D-PVLAN#2, QVLAN#100 will be
the same entry in the local "LAN" MAC address table.
