You can view configuration information for the switch in both the user and
administrator command modes. This chapter discusses how to use the command
line interface to display switch information.

Command Syntax and Usage
show interface status <port alias or number>
Displays configuration information about the selected port(s), including:
Port alias and number
Port speed
Duplex mode (half, full, or, auto)
Flow control for transmit and receive (no, yes, or, both)
Link status (up, down, or, disabled)
Port description

show interface trunk <port alias or number>
Displays port status information, including:
Port alias and number
Whether the port uses VLAN Tagging or not
Port VLAN ID (PVID)
Port description
VLAN membership
FDB Learning status
Flooding status

Displays the status of the port transceiver module on each port. For details, see
page

show informationdump
Dumps all switch information available (10K or more, depending on your
configuration).
If you want to capture dump data to a file, set your communication software
on your workstation to capture session data prior to issuing the dump
commands.
