pedal cranks" on page 41.
• Follow the operator manual from the manufacture
of calibration device being used to connect the
calibration device with the axis of the eBike III.
When a dynamic calibration is performed, the measured
actual load values are entered into the ergometer software.
The ergometer calculates the exact characteristic load
curve for regulating the eddy current brake.
The following load / rpm combinations have to be
measured during the calibration process:
• offset at
• 50 Watt at
• 50 Watt at
• 400 Watt at
To activate the service menu the ergometer has to be
switched off and on again.
As soon as the self test appears on the ergometer display,
press the two softkeys synchronously:
To prevent settings from being changed by chance, the
service menu is „protected" by a password.
Select „999" with the arrow keys and confirm with NIBP.
Navigate through the menus by using the arrow keys
(saddle height) to position the cursor bar.
Confirm the selection by pressing NIBP (to the right
of the LCD).

Note
• This session describes the dynamic load calibration of the
eBike III as a manual „step-by-step" procedure
• When using the ergoline calibration bench ("ergoline
ergotest 550" - order direct from Ergoline P/N 705890), an
automatic dynamic load calibration is possible -
please refer to the operator manual of the ergotest 550
device
