Before any intervention it is essential to cut off all supply of the machine

Repair

Replacement of the heating elements:

If the measured ohmic value of the heating element is equal to 0, it means that the resistor is
faulty.
Remove / Assembly:
1. Remove the left and right side frame of the machine.
2. Disconnect the wire of the faulty heating element.
3. Remove the end fl ange on each side.
4. Remove the protection panel and insulator on each side.
5. Extract the resistor support and the heating elements of the ironing cylinder.
6. Change the faulty heating element by a new one.
7. Put the heating elements and the support in the ironing cylinder.
8. Put the protection panel, the insulator and the end fl ange.
9. Connect the wire on the heating elements.
10. Put back the frame.
Replacement of the B126, B127, B128 temperature sensors, the B3 safety thermostat and
the F2 thermal fuse:
For a temperature at 21°C, the ohmic value of the PT100 temperature sensor must be range
from 107.79 to 108.57 ohms. Otherwise, the sensor is faulty.
The ohmic value of the safety thermostat must be different 0, if it is not the case, the thermostat
is faulty.
Remove / Assembly:
1. Remove the left side frame of the machine.
2. Disconnect the wire of the faulty sensor.
3. Remove the sensor fi xed on the strips bar and replace it by a new one.
4. Connect the wire of the new sensor.
5. Put back the frame.

Replacement of the KM6, KM7 and KM8 contactors:

If the contact of the contactor do not stick when the contact coil is supplied manually, this means
that the contactor is faulty.
Remove / Assembly:
1. Remove the left side frame of the machine.
2. Disconnect the wire of the faulty contactor.
3. Remove the contactor and replace it by a new one.
4. Connect the wire on the new contactor.
5. Put back the frame.
